How it works

We make it quick to reach a tree company that works near your address.

  1. You call or send a request

Tell us your town and what's going on: a tree to remove, storm damage, a dead or leaning tree, stumps to grind, or limbs to cut back.

  2. We connect you with a local company

Calls and requests go to an independent tree service that works in the Albany area.

  3. The company handles the job

They quote, schedule and do the work. Pricing, warranties and terms come from them directly.

What we are and aren't

Albany Tree Removal is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews or employ technicians, and we don't set prices. Using the site is free for homeowners.

Georgia has no state license for tree care companies. A 2024 Georgia House study committee found the state has no licensing, training, equipment or insurance requirements for tree care providers, and a bill to create a license was introduced in 2025. That puts the checking on you: ask for certificates of liability and workers' compensation insurance sent straight from the insurer, whether an ISA Certified Arborist will look at the tree, who does the climbing and rigging, and a written quote that says what's being cut, how brush and wood are handled, and whether the stump is included.
